Continuing the positive partnership started with the release of Thunder's last full length album "Shooting At The Sun", Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of the brand new THUNDER single "I Love You More Than Rock'n'Roll" which anticipates the release in Europe of the studio album entitled “The Magnificent Seventh” scheduled for early 2005.
The song has been already showcased during festivals in Germany, Holland and Belgium this summer. All shows – in support of Deep Purple, were fantastic, and ILYMTRNR went down a storm at every show. Touring with Deep Purple is becoming a habit, as Thunder are doing it again for 9 arena shows in the UK in November '04. The simplicity of the song really works well with big crowds.
Recording took place at various times during the summer (in between festival appearances), at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire UK for drums and bass, all the rest was done at Thunder's own Chez Bez Studio in London. All the extra tracks on the single are brand new, and only one will be on the new LP when it comes next year.
