Artist Bio
RAMOS is a dynamic melodic rock band from California, built around the incredible talents of guitarist Josh Ramos (The Storm, Hardline, Two Fires). With the band's stunning debut album on Frontiers Records, Living in the Light, RAMOS delivers a pure AOR release in the tradition of Journey, Survivor and The Storm.
RAMOS also features standout vocalist Mark Weitz (Malice, Eyes, Odin), keyboardist Russ Greene, drummer Atma Anur (Journey, Two Fires, Richie Kotzen), bassist Scott Snyder (Accomplice) and keyboardist Michael T. Ross (Hardline, Accomplice). Famed bass player Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai) also appears as a guest on two tracks: Tell Me Why and Winds of Change.

Josh Ramos had a busy 2002, being featured on three of the year's biggest AOR releases: Two Fires - Ignition, Robert Fleischman - World In Your Eyes, and Hardline II. Josh also found time to perform with Hardline at The Gods 2002 festival in Bradford, England, taking time out of the recording of Living in the Light back in Los Angeles.

Living in the Light features twelve stunning tracks, delivering sounds from every end of the AOR spectrum. From stadium rockers like Seize the Day and Night Has Fallen to poignant ballads like Love is the Magic and So Far Away, RAMOS delivers a release guaranteed to please all fans of pure melodic rock. Included in the collection is a moving, instrumental tribute to Josh's late brother simply titled Willie, showcasing Ramos' diverse style as a songwriter and musician.

RAMOS: Living in the Light was produced by Kelly Hansen (Hurricane) whose previous credits include Robert Fleischman - World In Your Eyes, Hurricane – Liquifury, Unruly Child – Waiting For the Sun and Slash's Snakepit – Ain't Life Grand.
Production was supervised by Executive Producer Michael S. Robinson whose previous credits include Hardline II, Jeff Scott Soto - Prism and Robert Fleischman - World In Your Eyes. Josh Ramos provided additional production assistance and arranged the album with Kelly Hansen.
