Artist Bio
For most people Kee is known as the guitar player of Swedish multiplatinum supergroup EUROPE, which launched their flight into international superstardom with “The Final Countdown” in the mid 80's. But for his many fans all over the world he is much more than that.

In 1982 Kee's glam rock band EASY ACTION got a direct signing with legendary SIRE, discovered by record industry icon Seymour Stein. He recorded two albums with them (“Easy Action” and “That Makes One”) and toured extensively until he joined Europe in 1986.

During the golden metal era of the 80's, Europe signed to EPIC USA and Kee recorded two studio albums with them (“Out Of This World” in 1988 and “Prisoners In Paradise” in 1991) and made three world tours.Earning a reputation as a world renowned guitar god, he released a instructional video for REH in 1992.

In 1993 came RED FUN, a project with Easy Action drummer Freddie Von Gerber, and in 1995 his solo debut, “Shine On”. Starting his own studio, GEM Studios, in Gothenburg gave him the opportunity to do the entire production, from demos to final mix, “in-house”. “Melon Demon Divine” is the first result of this. A heavily guitar oriented metal throbbing production with melodic songs in trio format is one way of describing it. A POWER FUCKING TRIO FROM THE OUTER SPACE OF HELL! is another.
Combining heavy riffs with grooves and strong songs with the signature melodic solo playing of Kee, this album stires new & old into a bittersweet witches brew. The instrumental version of “Raptor”, from the soundtrack of the US motion picture “Blood Shot” and “Can I B The 1” co-written with tennis star Niklas Kroon: the Tennis Masters Cup official theme song, are bonus tracks.Watch out for K2 live premiere at the Underworld in London on May 27, 2004 ! The first gig in their home country will be at the Metaltown Festival in Gothenburg on June 19 where the Swedes will perform, among others, with, Alice Cooper, Brides of Destruction, In Flames and Dimmu Borgir.
