Artist Bio
Hodson is a new, exciting Melodic Hard Rock band, brainchild of current Ten and Bob Catley keyboard player: Paul Hodson. Formed in 2003, Hodson consist of Paul on vocals and keyboards, Vince O'Regan (Pulse, Bob Catley) and guitar and Josie Vespa on bass.

Paul Hodson's credit list reads as a “who's who” of the British rock scene. As a keyboard player he worked with John Parr (of St. Elmo's Fire fame), Slade, Pete Goalby (of Uriah Heep), Hard Rain (formally Magnum), Bob Catley (for which, Paul wrote and produced the critically acclaimed 'When Empires Burn' album) and Ten to name but a few. His new role as a singer has stunned and surprised many people with his Ronnie James Dio/Graham Bonnet style voice. The comparison is particularly evident on the Rainbow cover of “Light In The Black” (off of the “Rising” album). His song writing ability also came of great shock to many, especially when 'When Empires Burn' gained a top 20 entry in the HMV Rock Charts in Japan and when most of the critics hailed “When Empires Burn” as the best Bob Catley solo album since his debut!

Vince O'Regan is a member of Bob Catley's touring band and has been for the past 3 years. As well being the guitarist in Hodson, Vince also enjoys success with his own band, Pulse. Their first album enjoyed critical acclaim in 2002 across Europe, and presently he is working on a follow-up album.

Josie Vespa, originally from Holland, has been a session bass player in her new home of London for many years. A graduate of the Bass Institute, her virtuosity and creativeness has been sought by many studios and live bands throughout Europe.

Hodson have recorded their new album 'This Strange World' which includes a video of the track 'This Foolish World'. With a tour planned for September, Hodson look to be set from going strength to strength. Musically the album wets the appetites of those who are into classic and epic hard rock music in the style of Rainbow, Magnum and Whitesnake.

Hodson are an act to watch out for and a bright reality of the current British rock scene !
