Damn right it ain`t pal!
Heavy Pettin`s second album for Polydor records picked up nicely where their `Lettin’ Loose` debut had left off. By now - and probably in the wake of Def Leppard’s success there - America was starting to get interested. `Rock Ain`t Dead` is a mission statement, and the album does what it says on the tin. Rock wasn`t dead, and this album aimed to prove it.
Sadly, it all began to go a bit peculiar for Heavy Pettin` after this album (Eurovision anyone?), but that should not be allowed to detract from what this album and it’s predecessor achieved. Finally available on CD for the first time, this album is bolstered by the inclusion of two bonus tracks previously only available as single b-sides.
