EDGE OF FOREVER, a concentration of 80's Hard Rock, filled with rousing melodies and neoclassical atmospheres.
The band was born in Italy in 2002 with the ambition of making the magic sound that has always influenced each of the members' music live again, also showing a great class which is generated by the encounter of different personalities on the same wavelength.
The band features fantastic singer BOB HARRIS, who worked with FRANK ZAPPA, STEVE VAI and is actually part of legendary band AXE. Alessandro Del Vecchio, keyboard player, has gained valuable experience besides some bigwigs of the world's rock and metal scene, energetic performer, has worked live and on records featuring GLENN HUGHES, PATRICK RONDAT, TONY FRANKLIN, BRUCE KULICK, AANDRE MATOS, SCOTT McGILL, TIMEMACHINE and many more. Matteo Carnio, refined guitar virtuoso and main author of the lyrics, has got a true axe-man's fury and grace and does not hide his passion for Y.J. Malmsteen and Ritchie Blackmore. Christian Grillo, bassist, and Francesco Jovino, drummer, represent the essence of EDGE OF FOREVER's groove, and their synergy gets inspiration from the lessons of Hard Rock's best rhythm sections.
The album is produced by MARCEL JACOB, extraordinary bass player and producer, who is the founder member of TALISMAN with JEFF SCOTT SOTO and worked with YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, POWER, JOHN NORUM, JOHANSSON BROTHERS.
JEFF SCOTT SOTO is singing a duet on “Prisoner” together with BOB HARRIS and JEFF is doing most of the backing vocals on the album.
The album features a video bonustrack of „Feeding The Fire“.
