MTM have seen the good sense to license this album for European release and a good thing too. It is a great album of solid melodic hard rock with some good vocal performances by Joe. Once again a re-arrangement of the Japanese running oder has proved a winner, with this album flowing better than the Pony Canyon release and the addition of the 2 bonus tracks most welcome. Shine On in particluar is a top class mid tempo atmospheric ballad that slows the album down a little at the right time and provides a tempo break in just the right spot. I am beginning to wonder if the Japanese still have their finger on the pulse of good hard rock with other recent releases (Night Ranger, Harem Scarem, Rick Springfield, Stan Bush) all being re-arranged to their benefits. I have temporarily lost my original Hurry Up review, so until I find it and post it here, take my word when I say this is one of Joe's best and most consistent albums and this version out shines the Japanese release even more. All JLT, Rainbow, Deep Purple and Mother's Army fans need to hear this. | ||
