Britny Fox are back! Not that they ever really went away, but this live release is supposed to re-introduce us to the band after a few years off. The line up is as it was after they disbanded with second vocalist Tommy Paris (from the Bite Down Hard album) back at the helm. This kind of release is primarily a fan only release, but if it does reach a good proportion of those that were into the band in their heyday, then it will serve as an excellent bridge to a hopeful studio release to follow. The album itself is filled with the band's classic numbers and comes under the raw, loose and live category of live recordings / releases. That in my book is a plus, as I hate the over produced or studio touched up productions. I was never a huge fan of the guys, but after listening to this several times, I am now going back to find their back catalogue for another listen. I was really impressed with the spirit and delivery of the tracks on this recording, with Dream On and Over & Out highlights for me. | |||
