With each MR.com Compilation, the aim is to make it better than the last and therefore the best yet. That's a pretty hard task given the quality of the artists and tunes on each volume to date, but I really tried to do something a little different with this volume – digging up some lost and sought after treasures; previewing some truly great upcoming releases and bringing in an acoustic section for a change of pace mid-disc.
Once again the quality of the tunes and the generosity of the participating artists has meant that an outstanding collection of melodic rock songs has been compiled and as is always the case – I hope you good folks enjoy listing to this as much as I did putting it together.
I hope you can discover some new artists to obsess over in the months ahead!
And as always again – all proceeds from the sale of the CDs goes towards site running costs and keeping the site running in general. I truly appreciate your support and look forward to Volume 6 next year - when I will try something new yet again!

There simply could not be a better way to close this compilation. Gregg was recording this track exclusively for my last compilation, but it was never completed and never released until now.
Thanks to his family and band mates, we get a chance to feature it now. The audio is being tidied up a little, but the feel good old-school rocker is the perfect tribute to the late, great Gregg Fulkerson (Blue Tears/Attraction 65).
